Our Latest Recordings

It is perhaps surprising that the band has taken over 150 years to make an audio recording.  However celebrating its 150th year, the band made its first CD recording entitled, not so surprisingly, “150 Years of Brass”.

The second CD completed in 2017 is entitled “Musicality”.  It features much loved tunes from Broadway and West End shows.  This was inspired by performing in Brassed Off at The Grand Theatre in Blackpool.  Both CD’s are available from band members at just £14 each.  Alternatively you can purchase them through iTunes.

Our Third CD recorded in the summer of 2019 is entitled “Christmas with the Band”. It was somewhat strange to be playing Christmas carols and songs in June!!!. However this is still available and would still be appropriate for Christmas 2020 and beyond.

Finally we have our fourth CD which is yet to be released. So keep in touch and we will let you be the first to know when this becomes available.

150 Years Of Brass

£14 (inc. p&p)

Our first CD featuring all our favourite music.  Tracks include The Saints, I’ll Walk with God, Adagio from Concerto De Aranjuez (or Orange Juice from Brassed off ), Kingdom Triumphant and a new arrangement of Lloyd, specially composed for our first CD.

As a taster, have a listen to “Abide with Me” by The Haydock Band below:

Christmas With The Band

£8 (inc. p&p)

Everyone will love singing along to the traditional carols we have included and also firm favourites like “White Christmas”, “Jingle Bells”, and it wouldn’t be Christmas with the Band without “Sneewaltzer”.

Musicality

£14 (inc. p&p)

We recorded this CD in 2017 and it’s full of tunes from the West End and Broadway, music we all love.  Tracks include “There’s no business like show business”, “Tonight”, “Pure Imagination”, “This is the moment” and the iconic “Slaughter on 10th Avenue” to name but a few.
