Haydock secure National Finals invitation after win in Blackpool

We had a fantastic day at the North West Regional Brass Bands Championships placing an incredible 1st place in the 1st section!

 

We are ecstatic with the result and the amazing remarks from the adjudicators, adding to our success after winning the Fife Charities contest in October 2025 This means not only are we heading to Birmingham for the Spring Festival in May, we’re heading to the National Finals in York in September!!

 

Congratulations to all qualifying bands from each section, and to our friends in other bands for their achievements at this year’s contest. Well done to the North West charities and volunteers who organised the smoothly run event, and Winter Gardens for hosting us.

 

And we’d like to thank our MD Mark Quinn and all players for their hard work to achieve a brilliant result
