The Haydock Band were awarded 2nd Place at the Butlins Mineworkers Contest 2022. The contest was own choice but the band elected to play Spectrum by Gilbert Vinter which is also the National Area Finals test Piece. Although by no means a perfect performance it is the base on which to build the next performance in 8 weeks time. Congratulations to the band for their efforts over the Christmas and New Year period.
