Vacancies

The band has vacancies for Solo Trombone and Percussion. We would like to invite anyone who would be interested in attending a rehearsal, or joining our band, to contact us and discuss this with our musical director, in confidence. You will be made most welcome by our friendly team.

Other players, as well as those above, are also most welcome to come and join in a rehearsal. Please contact our musical director beforehand.

Our team is fully committed to creating “magical musical performances” for the success of Haydock Band and each other as a whole. We enjoy our banding - concerts - contests and socialising to the full - so why not come along if you want to be part of a highly successful and motivated team.

The Haydock Band will feature on Granada Reports on Monday 5th February at 6pm.
The Haydock Band were awarded 1st place, 2nd Section, at the Butlins Mineworkers Championships, on Saturday 13th January 2018. Mark Quinn M D deserved this for all the effort put into shaping the band's performance.
The Haydock Band were awarded 1st place, 2nd Section, at the Wychavon Entertainment Contest. The band played music composed by Adam Taylor and a recording of the performamce can be located on Soundcloud.
The Haydock Band played at Blackpool, Area National Finals, on Sunday 26th February 2017. The Band didn't play to their potential but nevertheless were disappointed with their placing at 14th.
